We invite you to explore what we do, who we are, our publications, and a bit of insight into our lab. We also provide links to other colleagues at Cornell who make it such a rich intellectual environment for population genetics, evolutionary biology, and comparative genomics.
We value diversity. While our science focuses on genetic diversity, our core values as a lab focus on promoting racial, ethnic, and cultural diversity. For decades, STEM fields have been unfairly biased based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, and socio-economic status. As a result, many great minds have been silenced and talented individuals have been prevented from pushing new boundaries. We strive to become anti-racist, to listen, to learn, to be challenged, and to foster a community of belonging. We proudly stand with the Black Lives Matter movement and support people of color in their fight against white supremacy. Please feel free to reach out to us. -The Aquadro Lab (Chip, Jackie, Miwa, Catherine, Paula, and Cynthia) Recent profile of the Aquadro lab research from Cornell Research Office |
